Poson/Monthly Program (Sponsorship: Mahinda & Samantha, Chinthaka & Prasadini)
The program will begin with Buddha Puja and Dana Offerings at 11 am. As usual, the afternoon will include Dhamma talks/discussions for kids and adults, meditation, Pirith chanting, and passing of merits to recently departed family/friends of our community.

Dear Members
I would like to inform you that we have to change the date of our June monthly program. Originally it was scheduled on June 15th. But the monastic retreat conducted by Bhante Gunaratana will be from June 9 to June 15th. All our resident monks should attend this retreat. We forgot to pay attention to the schedule of this monastic retreat when we set our calendar. (Next year, we will pay attention to it).
Therefore, we will reschedule our monthly dana program on Saturday 21st June. Sponsors for this month are ok with that. Our in-person Buddhism and Sinhala classes will be conducted from 4 pm as scheduled on the same day.
We will also get an opportunity to listen to a well-known Dhamma speaker monk on that day. Venerable Higure Pannasekara Thero, a sought-after Dhamma speaker in Sri Lanka is visiting Pittsburgh on that week. We will bring him to the monthly program and invite him to give a special bana. We will inform our devotees to come to listen to him as a part of our monthly program.
